Not only have I worked very hard on this course, I am also doing my ecdl also COMPLETED FOLDER 1 OF THE COMPTIA COURSE IN AMATTER OF 2 WEEKS WITHOUT THE NEED FOR EXTRA HELP WITH A GOOD AVERAGE PASS RATE BETWEEN 80 - 100 % HAVING SUFFERED THE LAST 6 WEEKS WITH A LEG INFECTION CALLED CELLULITUS AND NT BEEN ABLE TO DO MUCH ITS A GOOD JOB I HAVE THE USE OF A LAPTOP . ON THE MEND NOW AND LOOKING FORWARD TO RECEIVING MY NEXT SET OF COURSE NOTES WITH MUCH ENTHUSIASM. Using the skills I have been Learning on this course, I have managed to fix a friends computer that would not work, or recognise HD drives, by using what I had learnt and reconfiguring his BIOS. Finished A+ part of my course and only 3 TMAs away from finishing N+ then to start the Cisco training. This is all done as well as holding down a full time job and in a busy family environment. I AM START WORKING WITH BRITISH TELECOM.THEY SEND ME EVERYWHERE (STAY AWAY FROM HOME) IN THE COUNTRY FOR TRAINING PURPOSE .THERE IS SO MANY LESSONS ,EXAMS AND PRACTICALS NEED TO BE DONE. THIS TRAINING WILL ENDED UP ON MIDDLE OF JULY2007. AND I HAVE A FAMILY WITH TWO KIDS TO SPEND CERTAIN TIME WITH THEM.BETWEEN THESE COMMITMENTS,I AM DOING MY CCNA COURSE WITH SKILL TRAIN.I HAVE DONE TWO FULLY WRITTEN ANSWER (NOT M.C.Q) ASSESMENTS (ACHIEVED 100% MARKS) AND ONE M.C.Q ASSESMENT (WAITING FOR RESULT) DURING THIS TIGHT SCHEDULE.I HOPE I AM DOING A REALLY HARD JOB. WELL, WHAT I CAN SAY ABOUT ME?! PERHAPS NOTHING. I TRY MY BEST BY BUILDING MY OWN FUTURE IN IN I.T. SECTOR! Past my first assignment with 90%, first time and looking foward to a better result on my next. Full of excitment about my course. After being forced to take time out to sort out personal problems I have managed to catch up on my work load and get back on track in preperation for my A+ exam. Since I started the course I knew nothing about the mechanics of a computer but in the past couple of weeks I started to encounter problems with my cpu and I have now solved and rectified the problem. After a long break from studying I decided it was time for a change. So when I found student world I thought id give it a try . getting back into studying wasnt easy at first but I found that by picking up my folder for an hour a day that the course started to get easier. by increasing this by another 15 minutes a day I managed to complete my first part in a month of receiving the course material. this means that I am now only waiting for access codes for the next tma thank you very much to skillstrain for giving me this oppotunity and let me tell all the other students out there I work 12 to 17 hours a day as a taxi driver at the moment and am looking forward to a new career at the age of 46 keep going you can do this..... I have achieved 100 per cent in two of the three Tutor Marked Assignments I have submitted in April, in the N+ Part A part of the course, with the other Assignment still waiting to be marked. A friend of mine wanted to upgrade his PC to a duo core processor. He bought a new motherboard/processor package and a 1MB graphics card. Thanks to what I've learned from the first few sections of the course I was able to install his new motherboard/processor and correctly connect all the power/signal lines on both the motherboard and then the graphics card. I then helped him install windows Vista. His PC is working brilliantly (his words) and I'm pleased that only a few weeks into the course it's having an impact already.
