As a sufferer of "Depressive Psychosis" I find it very difficult to concentrate on learning. With thoughts of harming myself and others going through my head, I can get very distracted. It is, therefore, very impressive that I am maintaining an average of one work unit completed per week, with no scores below 90% so far. Most of my assignments have yielded 100% top marks, and my median average is also 100%, which I am very proud to have acheived. I am studying MCSE, I found books and other materials realy useful and gives me a massive knowledge in IT industry, by completing the A+ section I am ready to book my test for A+ exam, and I am quite sure to pass it at first time as the materials and books Skills Train provide are excellent and fantastic. This month has been a difficult one as I have been under a lot of pressure at work trying to meet deadlines etc, also I have been having a lot of problems at home since my husband had his accident at work we have been under stress from his work at the moment. Therefore I feel that the results that I am managing to get on my course work have been etremly good with the fact that I am under so much pressure. I recently changed isp and couldn't login to this site. Now that I can, I found I got full marks for my TMA. I thought I had done terrible due to my TMA being a written assignment. I am really enjoying the course. Well just undergoing the course was a step in the right direction for me, I have wanted to do this for a long time and never did, but now I have and am enjoying this so far. Already I have submitted three sets of TMA's the first three weeks of the month. Two of these I have received the answers back and have scored 100% on both and hopefully my third 100% is on its way, and currently I have just started the forth section of my course and will be ready to submit TMA 4 as soon as the third TMA answers are sent back to me. Even if I don't get voted for student of the month just to be on this course and receiving the positive answers back already make me a winner. Good luck to all others studying and entering the SOTM. MY ACHIEVEMENTS SO FAR ARE TO DEMONSTRATE TO MY EMPLOYERS ALL THAT I HAVE LEARNT FROM MY COURSE SO FAR, THIS IS A BIG SUCCESS FOR ME. FIRST OF ALL I NEED TO SAY THAT I AM CURRENTLY JUGGLING MY COURSEWORK WITH 12 HOUR SHIFTS AT WORK AND TRYING TO SPEND TIME WITH MY SONS OF 1 AND 3.I HAVE MANAGED TO COMPLETE TMA 2 AND THREE OF MY A+ 2003 OBJECTIVES AND HAVE SINCE TRANSFERED ON TO THE 2006 OBJECTIVES.I HAVE COMPLETED TMA 1 2006 OBJECTIVES .AWAITING PROGRESS REPORT SO THAT I CAN COMPLETE TMA 2.ALL IN ALL I AM PRETTY CONFIDENT OF GOOD RESULTS AS I HAVE STUDIED VERY HARD FOR THE PAST THREE WEEKS Over the past four weeks I have had the misfortune of having my wife in the I.C.U. of our local hospital, visiting daily two or three times a day, while at the same time keeping our home in order, washing and ironing, vacuuming and any other job that has required doing and also trying to keep on top of my course-work when I eventually arrived home in the mid-evening,completing three T.M.A's and receiving all but 5% from the total possible. I would like to think I was in contention for the top prize as I am trying to upgrade my existing computer so that I can get connected to broadband and spend more time on the course web site. I am pleased to inform you my wife has now been transferred to the H.D.U. and is making a slow and steady recovery. Over the past few weeks I have successfully helped some people diagnose problems with there computers and offered advice on how to fix these problems, I have also fixed my mates pc just a couple of days ago, I took it apart and found that the P.S.U. had burnt out and today I am going round to fit the new one for him. Since I have started the course I have acheived results beyond what I thought I could. I restarted the course when I sent for the undated version which I find is more in depth and the troubleshouting section is a great help.my TMA scores have ranged from 87% - 100%.All this studying is undertaken while holding down a perminent nightshift job and visiting my children at weekends.since the studying I have been able to help friends family with a variety of pc problems with either hardware or sorfware which I am improving all the time.Hopefully when I have completed some more coursework I will apply for partime jobs to get more experience in this field of further employment I FEEL THAT EVEN WITH MY ILL HEALTH I AM PROGRESSING AT A RATE THAT SUITS ME , ALSO THAT I AM SUPPRISING MYSELF WITH THE RESULTS THAT I HAVE BEEN GETTING , MY FREINDS AND NEIGHBOURS ARE NOW ASKING ME TO HAVE A LOOK AT THEIR COMPUTORS FOR THEM, WHICH I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO FIX AND INSTALL NEW HARDWARE FOR THEM , WHICH FILLS ME WITH GREAT SATISFACTION I started my course in January 2007 and was eager to get learning, so I started tma01 of my comptia a+ certification. I have been under great pressure whilst doing my course as my partner was diagnosed with cancer and had to undergo surgery. I have been looking after my partner and our 3 year old daughters needs and have still managed to stay focused and complete my assignments within my goal times. I am now studying tma05 and have received 90% pass rates on my previous assignments. I believe that I have made a great achievement whilst under great pressure and worry and I will continue to study so I can oneday have the dream job I always wanted.
