When I started this course, I found it really hard for me. But now I am expecting a bright future from this course. I re-started the course in December on the 2006 course material, despite having to leave my job through illness I have since recovered and been spending a lot of time studying, my days now consist of dog walking and studying. I have managed to get to assignment 30 in which seems to me a short space of time. I was never very good at school and I am so pleased that I have found something I enjoy and interests me! thanks. HELLO WELCOME TO EVERY ONE IN THE SKILLSTRAINS WORLD I LOVE THIS First of all,I do not have any knowledge about pc hardware colours, but after I started my course, I have learned a new skill which has help me alot, about my computer and as well as my internet experience I have gain from this course. I have completed two assignments and have two great results from them which I didn't think I would have got straight away. I hope I can carry on with the same results and if I don't manage to keep acheving high results then I know that my tutors are there to help me as much as they can. I STARTED MY COURSE IN 2004 AND TOOK MY APLUS. I DID NOT PASS FIRST TIME AND BECAUSE OF FAMILY COMMITMENTS HAD TO PUT MY STUDIES ON HOLD. I HAVE CRAMMED LIKE CRAZY FOR THE PAST MONTH AND HOPE TO CATCH UP MY STUDIES AND PASS THE EXAM SO I CAN APPLY FOR I.T. TECHNICIANS JOB,SO WISH ME LUCK! I have just started my course a couple of weeks ago and have now completed the first 3 assesments. I passed the First one at 100% the second at 90% and I hope the same kind of mark for the third. I had some difficulty with the third assesment so I read the chapter again and made some stickie notes. Was almost like baing back at school again after 10 years. I've just sold my house, my girlfriend has sold hers and we haven't found anywhere to live yet after being let down on the house of our dreams. I passed my A+ today. It was my first exam since leaving school 23 years ago. Although I revised like a mad man using study guides the OS exam was squeaky bum time. I would recommend that anyone taking the exam revises from the skillstrains course materials rather than cropped study guides. I have found it hard to find the time to fit my learning in, but am pleased with my results so far and have found if you make the effort and time you can see the results for yourself. I decided to enrol on a computer course shortly after the birth of my son. I made a decision to stay at home until he is ready to start school, and felt that now was a time to make a complete career change. The man who came round suggested that I stretch myself and go for the A+/N+/CCNA course. I have now nearly completed section 1 of A+, and have found it to be very rewarding when you get good results back from your TMA on a subject that you knew nothing about just a few days before!! It is of course very hard work especially as I have two children and have to wait until they have gone to bed before I can start my studying, but I know that it will be worth it when I finally get qualified, and these courses are designed to fit around any circumstances.
