April has been a difficult month for me time wise, what with working and running the football team and also playing. Having mid week games thrown in due to the rubbish weather we had this season and still having games on Saturdays. I have also had to do the end of season accounts plus organise two 6 aside tournaments and get the money from people for them and find time to organise the end of season do. That has all made this month a bit hectic but add in the girlfriend moving up from Devon with no job and over 300 books into my flat, its gone manic. Had very little PC knowledge when started the course could operate software but with basic knowledge. Work long nights driving HGV so study time is hard to come by but I try to fit in as much as possible through my breaks during night day's off etc, I'm doing better than I thought I would, note taking is getting easier better with practice hopefully continue with good marks. I have finished part A of my course on the essentials of Comptia A+. I feel I already have a strong knowledge of the insides and outs of a PC, when just over a month ago my knowledge was at best, basic. I have experimented by taking apart my dads old computer and feel I can pinpoint mostly everything that I`ve learned. This as been down to hard work and commitment because I work long shifts 6 days a week starting at 6 in the morning and although it would be easier to go straight to bed when I`ve got back, I`ve made sure that I`ve studied a module everyday and understood it and as a result I have begun to enjoy it more. Thank you. As I am working in a hotel as Concierge, you can all figure how busy this can be in the hotel business during summer seasons. This June is no exception. As I am working in a hotel as Concierge, you can all figure how busy this can be in the hotel business during summer seasons. This June is no exception. I have just completed my degree and now am studying PC hardware and maintenance- essentials. I have completed three of the assignments and have got 95% and 97% for two of them. I am waiting to see what I get for the third which I think I completed comfortably. I think coming out of university and doing this course straight away helps as you still are in the studying mood. Enrolled July 2006 for CCNA/CCNP and started my first TMA in A+ in August. Despite my busy work pattern as a hospital doctor, I've managed to finish A+ and sat CompTIA A+ public exam and had a good pass. Just received certificate 2 weeks ago. Also finished Network+ yesterday. Looking forward to starting CCNA/CCNP part of course. Been very exciting ad looking forward to second profession or change of career! After starting this course with only self taught PC skills I have submitted three TMA's this month and managed 100% scores so far though still waiting TMA02 result. I'm certainly enjoying the challenge even though I also work 50 hours a week plus. Best decision I ever made was definitely starting this course. PC not starting hdd clicking noise replace hdd 250gb sata reinstall windows xp home didn't have motherboard software so couldn't install some hardware so internet was not working install ethernet card connected ethernet cable to my broadband router now got internet down loaded drivers for hardware still couldn't get driver for sound card removed sound card found who manufacturer was searched internet downloaded driver from manufacturer site sound card now works delivered pc to customer set up pc checked internet install multifunction printer got driver from internet happy customer. Getting out of hospital after my breakdown this course has helped me focus on a new life and a better job prospect. I always try my best with all my assignments and I feel I have committed myself to my work 100% I have got through 7 assignments in a period of time, and feel that is a great achievement and I will give 100% with all my coursework. I feel I have achieved a lot since I started the course, I initially started my A+ course in 2005 but struggled really hard to find the time to study in between family life and work. Then personal problem seemed to mount up, my relationship unfortunately ended and my step father was taken ill( fortunately he's doing well now). I still persevered and managed to pass both my exams eventually to gain my A+ certificate. I feel I have a greater knowledge now and indulge in pc repairing for a hobby and am looking forward to an interview soon. Many thanks.
