Before commencing this course I only knew few things about I.T. but now I know things that seems like something I can never understand. I have been refining my studying methods and as each TMA gets harder and harder I still manage to get above 90% and I just know that through effort I will keep it this way! I knew a bit about PCs before I started, but now I know a lot more than I could ever have imagined existed. WITH MY LITTLE KNOWLEDGE OF HOW TO USE THE COMPUTER(PC, I DECIDED TO ENHACE MY CHANCE OF GAINING AN OPPORTUNITY TO WORK IN AN IT COMPANY. AFTER I HAD DONE ALL MY RESEARCH ON THE BEST IT TRAINING SCHOOL, SKILLSTRAIN SOUNDED LIKE SOMETHING THAT CAN DELIVER ME FROM MY PROBLEMS. SO WENT ON AND SIGNED UP FOR A COURSE IN PC HARDWARE AND MAINTENANCE. I'M FINDING IT REALLY INTERESTING STUDYING. SINCE I JOINED SKILLSTRAIN MY WHOLE LIFE HAS BEEN TRANSFORMED AND I CAN'T WAIT TO SIT FOR MY EXAMS. I JUST WANT TO SAY A BIG THANK YOU FOR MY COURSE WORK WHICH IS EASY TO UNDERSTAND. The most significant accomplishment for me was my new job. After a long wait, I have moved into the IT industry. I am now working as a Technical Sales Advisor. Prior to this I was working as a part-time cleaner! I was determined to change my career. I came to know about skillstrain through leaflet in the post. I have joined A+/N+/CCNA course. I manage to submit majority of the A+/N+ assignments in the first attempt. I passed my A+ exam in first attempt with good marks. Since last month I am running a part time small business from home, as an IT technician. I am receiving 2-3 computers per week for repair or upgrade, baring in mind that it is relatively new business, and I haven't promoted it as much yet. I am hoping to expand it in near future through advertising and make it as full time business. I have been studying for the nine months and at times struggled to do this, after suffering two heart attacks and some days not feeling as good as I could. I have carried on and hopefully I am not too far behind, but I have gained a lot of information from this course and hopefully can put this to good use. Since ever I started training with skillstrain,I have radiated confidence and attended two interwiew and was successful to the extent that the interviewer said he is going to start recommending skillstrain when I answered the question ;what do you understand by the following HUB,ROUTER & SWITCHES. I've recently been diagnosed with Cancer (Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia) after a regular Eye Test which came as a big shock and very divastating. Im only 29 years old and I thought I had this massive life ahead of me but now its going to be a touch and go. I was meant to go for the second interveiw with a local I.T company but all that has gone out of the window. I've been going through a series of tests and awaiting to undergo chemotherapy which I hope I will respond well to. Just I wanted to let you know that I used the Skills Train Network+ study guides to prepare for the Network+ 2007 Edition exam. I passed on the first try without problem. I am highly recommending to all of my friends to join with skills Train because this computer training college provides Realistic, Fantastic and skillful course materials for getting success. Well, after a busy first half of the year I was struggling to keep up with my study timetable and also lead a busy life. I work for a medium sized telecomms/I.T company and have been trying to move more into the I.T side of things, as I believe there is more prospects and opportunity, but this has proved difficult as I do not have the necessary experience they require, that was one of the main reasons I embarked on this study programme and course. After months of trying to juggle the studying, homelife, kids and work (nights) I can finally see that it will all be worth it in the end. Just sent in TMA 10 and waiting for the results, still averaging 95% and I actually know that the work that I have done is paying off. I recently upgraded the memory and the graphics on my home pc and it now works like a dream. Actually being phoned up to come and try and sort out peoples PCs (for a fee !!) and I have also got a placement with a local IT solutions firm in order to broaden my horizons in the IT world. Still got a long way to go but I am no longer out of my depth and will be be looking forward to my career change, probably after Christmas. I am very pleased with my decision to change my career into IT after having been in Human Resources field for 10 years. After just two months of commencing my COMPTIA A+ with SkillsTrain, I was able to move across to a job as a Junior HelpDesk Analyst. I started my A+ course in the middle of March 2007 basically as a novice. I studied very hard, literally every day, and did quite well with my TMAs. When I completed my last TMA, the thought of doing the actual exam was quite scary for me since I had not formally studied in over 20 years.
